Behavior Indicators:
- Upon powering up, all indicator lights will briefly illuminate then deactivate. A green light flashes every second, initiating a 120-second countdown, after which it flashes once every 40 seconds, indicating a reset to “0 ppm.”
- A sensor malfunction is indicated by an orange light flashing twice every 40 seconds, coupled with two beeps, and the display showing “ERR.”
- When the test button is pressed, the green and yellow lights remain lit, the red light blinks, and the unit emits a beep sound.
- Exceeding the preset CO threshold (128ppm) causes the red light to blink with a continuous beep sound. The alarm ceases once levels return to “0 ppm,” and if connected, the app will send a notification.
- To conduct a user test, direct cigarette smoke towards the device; displayed CO levels will rise, and if they surpass the threshold, an alarm will sound with concurrent red light flashes.
