This Wi-Fi-enabled gas alarm assesses both the presence of various combustible gases (such as natural gas, LPG, CH4) and ambient air temperature. Upon detecting gas concentrations below the alarm threshold, it issues an audible warning in a clear, spoken language and displays the gas concentration levels.
Should the gas concentration exceed the alarm limit (6 LEL ± 3% CH4) or the temperature reaches the alarm point (57°C), the siren, with a sound level of 70dB, will activate. It also automatically sends a notification to designated smartphones via the Smart Life app, compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
For the alarm to connect with a phone, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz) connectivity is necessary within the sensor’s range.
The alarm is powered by a micro-USB (5V) cable, and it features an LCD display that continuously shows the gas concentration, time, and temperature (with a power consumption of less than 200mA). It comes with a 220V charging plug and a micro-USB cable.
Although there’s no space for an internal battery, it can be powered using an alternative external power supply (12V, 5V) that supports micro-USB charging.
Install the gas leakage Wi-Fi alarm at a height between 1.5 and 4.0 meters from the ceiling, positioning it 30 cm below the ceiling for lighter gases such as natural gas, and 30 cm above the floor for heavier gases like LPG.
