How to connect wifi with mobile phone – Car camera 4K GPS
1. Download “Timacam” app to your cell phone.
2. Long press “Menu” button to switch in wifi.
3. Select the wifi NVT-CARDVxxxx on your phone settings.
4. Press “Timacam” app to connect.
Note
1. Only can connect wifi on car dvr wifi hotspot, can’t connect wifi through router.
2. When connected to WiFi, you can only view normal speed video playback on your phone. To view fast forward (+2+4+8) or slow release (-2-4-8), you can only do so within the DVR or third party app.

Using an inappropriate charger or connecting the device with other cables, such as a cell phone charger, may cause damage to the device. The car charger provided includes a chip with protective voltage on the main board, ensuring safe operation.
Only a power source of 5V Authentic 2A output can be used to power up or charge the device.
Q：How to install the 3M Holder?
- Use the free gifts Mounting Membrane.
- Tear one of the membranes.
- Take a tissue and slowly smooth the film.
- Rip the red paper of the 3M bracket.
- Attach the 3M bracket to the membrane.
- It is easy to tear if you want to replace it elsewhere on the car window.
Q: How about night vision?
A: Night video and 4 Infrared lights inside
The camera has two lenses, one inside and the other outside.
The outside camera has a night vision sensor. At night, it works well only if there is any light, such as car headlights or road lights. This doesn’t mean the front camera can record without light.
The inside camera has four IR lights. It can record without any lights at night. When you switch on the IR function, the video is in black and white.
When the infrared function is turned off during the day, the video turns pink, because there are 4 infrared lights, so it absorbs a lot of ultraviolet light during the day.
If you don’t like the pink video, you can switch on the IR function in the DVR settings, and it will turn to black and white version.
The camera has two lenses, one inside and the other outside.
The inside camera has 4 IR lights. It can record without any lights at night. When you switch on the IR function, the video is in black and white.
If there are no these 4 IR lenses, it can’t record anything at night in the car because there are no road lights and car lights inside the car. Therefore, it needs 4 infrared lights.

- Enable GPS functionality on the device.

- Set Time Zone: Press the Menu button twice to access Time Zone. Use the up and down buttons to select a time zone in the device setting. Press the OK button to confirm. (DVR Setting)
- Leave your email with the seller, and we will send the GPS installation file to you.
- Install the GPS player on your PC.
- Remove the TF-card from the DVR that contains positioned video inside and use the card reader to connect to the computer, or connect the USB cable to the PC. Select “Open File” to view your video on PC. (PC Setting)
- The Signal sign will change from White to Green (indicating successful GPS star searching).
